I really enjoyed reading it. I do agree with you about the Star Trek movie. I didn't think I would like it but I came away thinking it was excellent. All of the characterizations were right on the money. The only new twist I had problems with was the Uhura-Spock relationship. Yes, she is beautiful and smart, but, c'mon! Is there any reason to think that ever happened? That seemed out of character for the reserved Vulcan. It's a very good movie. I didn't think they could ever find a young Jim Kirk but they did.
